Administrator - Overview

What does the Admin role cover in Stacks?

Written by Drew Pomeroy

Administrator Overview

As an Admin, you are the primary point of contact between your Organization and 1845 Solutions. You control how your organization is set up in Stacks, who has access to what, and how athlete data flows from registration through to results. Your Organizations experience on Stacks depends on your setup being accurate before every event.

This overview covers everything the Admin role is responsible for and links to the detailed guide for each area.

What Admins Are Responsible For

Area

What It Covers

Connecting your technology to Stacks and organizing devices into groups so data routes to the right athlete profiles automatically

Reviewing and approving incoming athlete registration requests, handling duplicates, and confirming group assignments

Adding coaches and instructors to your organization, assigning roles, and managing access

Viewing your full organization roster, understanding player claimed status, and knowing when and how to nudge athletes to connect their Stacks profile to the MLBU App

Your Role at a Glance

  • You are the only person who can approve athlete registration requests — athletes cannot be activated until an Admin accepts them

  • You control which staff members can see which groups — coaches only see what you assign to them

  • You are responsible for confirming devices are set up and syncing correctly before every data capture session

  • If something is not working on-site, you are the first line of triage before escalating to 1845 Support

Where to Get Help
