Instructor - Walkthrough

How to log in, view your roster, and understand athlete performance data in Stacks.

Written by Drew Pomeroy

Overview

Stacks gives you a clear view of your athletes' performance data so you can make informed decisions in your player development sessions. As an instructor, you have access to the groups and athletes your admin has assigned to you.

1. Getting Access

  • Check your inbox for an invitation email from 1845

  • Follow the secure link in the email to set your password and activate your account

  • Once logged in, your dashboard will display only the groups assigned to you

⚠️ Don't see your athletes? Your Admin may not have assigned you to a group yet or may not have approved athlete requests. Reach out to your facility admin to confirm your group assignments.

2. Viewing your Athletes

  • From your dashboard, select a group to view the athletes assigned to it.

  • Click on any athlete to open their profile and view their performance data.

  • Each profile includes their best-of metrics and session history, so you can track progress over time.

3. Understanding the Data

  • Best-of metrics — Peak performance across all sessions.

  • Session summary — A chronological history of every session. Use this to track progress over time.

  • Percentiles — How their metrics compare to other players in their global age group.

  • Color coding — Green indicates strong performance for their age group. Yellow is mid-range. Red flags a priority area for focused development.

  • Glossary — Tap the graduation cap icon anywhere in Stacks to find definitions for any metric.

4. Putting the Data to Work

Use athlete profiles to identify strengths to build on, areas that need focused attention, and progress to acknowledge between sessions. The data does not replace your expertise. It supports it.
