App - Checklist: How do I complete a checklist on the app?

This article explains how teachers can complete a checklist using the app.

Checklists can be either scheduled or ad hoc.

  1. Scheduled checklists are set to run automatically on specific day(s) and time. They will appear in the ‘Checklists To Do’ section.

  2. Ad hoc checklists are one-time, unscheduled tasks that you can complete as needed.

There are two-ways to complete the Ad hoc Checklists:

Complete the Ad hoc Checklist from the "Home" page

  1. When you're on the Home page, click the pink "+" button at the bottom right corner of the screen.

  2. Click Checklist.

  3. Search and select the Room from the Center where the checklist applies then;

  4. You'll see Folders (just like on the Admin Portal).

    To see the checklist inside a folder, just click on the folder name then click it again to close it.

  5. Once you find the checklist you want to complete, click the name of the checklist to start.

Complete the Ad hoc Checklist from the "Menu"

  1. Click the Menu/three lines (☰) at the top of the screen.

  2. Click Centers or Rooms.

  3. Search and select the Center or Rooms where the checklist applies then;

  4. Click the pink "+" button at the bottom right corner of the screen.

  5. Click Checklist.

  6. You'll see Folders (just like on the Admin Portal).

    To see the checklist inside a folder, just click on the folder name then click it again to close it.

  7. Once you find the checklist you want to complete, click the name of the checklist to start.


Checklist Completion Status

Pencil (✎)Icon

  • It means you have started the checklist but haven’t finished all questions.

  • You’ll usually find it under Checklists To Do.

  • Click EDIT DRAFT to continue answering.

Check Mark (✓) Icon

  • It means you have completed all required questions.

  • You’ll find it under Checklists Completed Today (for scheduled checklists).

  • Click EDIT if you want to add more information or comments.

Cross (X) Icon

  • It means you haven’t started the checklist.

  • You’ll find it in Overdue Checklists once the due date has passed or in the Checklists To Do if the checklist hasn’t been started/submitted yet.

  • Click START to begin answering.


Checklist Sections

Checklist is divided into Groupings and Questions.

Groupings

Groupings are sections of the checklist, shown as tabs at the top. Each tab contains a set of related questions to help organize the checklist by category/topic.

Questions

These are the items you need to answer or check off in the checklist.
Some questions may be required or tracked, depending on their importance.

  • Mandatory Questions:

    If a question is color pink, it means you must answer it before submitting. These are mandatory questions.

    If you try to submit the form without answering all the mandatory questions, a warning message will appear:

  • Tracked Questions:

    If a question has a pink line in the front, it means it’s a tracked question.
    Unlike mandatory questions, you can still submit the checklist even if you did not answer a tracked question—but the checklist will be marked as incomplete.

You can also add a photo or a comment to any question if needed. Just click the icons on the left side of each question.


Autosave Feature

No need to worry about saving your checklist – the app saves everything for you as you go. If you close the app or it crashes, most (if not all) of your info will still be there.

At the top of your screen, you’ll notice - ‘Saving’ or ‘All Changes Saved’ – that’s how you know your work is being backed up in real time.


Submitting your Checklist

  1. When you're finished, click the ‘Submit’ button at the top right corner of the screen.

  2. A pop-up will appear with the option to add the checklist to your Favorites. (Note: some checklist templates may have this option disabled). This makes it easier to find again later and helpful if you think you might need to add more info later on. (i.e. daily checklists generally don't require adding to Favorites)

  3. There is an option to Send Checklist via email? as well in the pop-up (Note: some checklist templates may have this option disabled). If you select this, then tap SUBMIT,


    Email Editing window pops up. Sometimes there are pre-populated email addresses (depending on the configuration your administrator has done) *→, otherwise you can add email addresses manually by pressing the + button □.

    Subject and Message are pre-populated as default, but feel free to edit them accordingly →.

  4. After submitting, there will be confirmation pop-out. You also have two options:

AI-generated content may be incorrect.
  • Continue Editing – if you still have changes to make.

  • Go to Dashboard – if you're fully done, and you'll go back to the home dashboard.
