What is Snappy?
Snappy is a gifting platform that lets companies send personalized gift choices to employees, clients, and partners. Senders set a budget and select a collection, allowing recipients to choose their preferred gift.
What is a Collection?
A Collection is a curated set of gift options. Senders select a collection tied to a specific budget level, and recipients pick their favorite item. Collections dynamically update based on inventory, seasonality, budget, and recipient region.
Note: Single gift sends are available with specific restrictions.
What is a Campaign?
A Campaign is a saved template that stores your program settings so you don't have to build sends from scratch. It includes your budget, collection, custom branding/messaging, delivery rules, and expiration dates.
Billing & Expiration
How does billing work?
Initial Estimate: Upfront charges estimate gift cost, Snappy’s service fee, and 10% sales tax.
Final Calculation: Once claimed, final costs are adjusted based on the item selected and the recipient's local tax rate.
Monthly Refunds: Unused funds between the estimated and actual costs are credited back to your balance on the first business day of each month.
Do Snappy gifts expire?
Yes, senders can set campaign expiration dates. Once expired, unclaimed funds return to your billing method.
Guaranteed Gift Option: If enabled, unclaimed gifts automatically convert to a Snappy Dining Card of equal value so no recipient misses out.
Delivery Methods & Notifications
How are gifts delivered?
Automated Delivery (Sent by Snappy): Email, SMS (text link only), or direct messaging via Slack / MS Teams (Elevated & Enterprise plans).
Self-Delivery (Sent by You): Unique Gift Links (via CSV) or printable Gift Codes. Tip: You can convert generated links into QR codes using third-party tools.
Are gift reminders sent automatically?
Yes. For automated delivery methods, Snappy sends reminders on Days 1, 3, 7, 12, 21, 28, 35, 42, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 240, and 270. Reminders are not available for self-delivered links or codes.

Can I send gifts internationally?
Yes. Snappy sources locally via partners in 176 countries, eliminating hidden international fees, customs paperwork, and unpredictable shipping times.
How often do gift choices change?
Collections update daily based on real-time vendor inventory, trends, and seasonal availability.
Does Snappy offer gift cards?
No. Snappy does not offer standard monetary gift cards, but we do offer redeemable Snappy Experiences.
