Maximizing Your Gift Claim Rates

Claim Rate Best Practices

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Congratulations on launching your campaign!

Sending the gifts is only half the battle—the real magic happens when your recipients actually open their emails, unwrap their digital experience, and claim their physical items.

If you notice your claim rates are a little lower than expected, or if a campaign deadline is fast approaching, follow these best practices to ensure your team doesn't miss out on the fun!

1. Identify Your Unclaimed Gifts 🔍

Your first step is finding out exactly who hasn't opened or claimed their gift yet.

  • Navigate to the Gift Activity tab on your Snappy Dashboard.

  • Use the Gift Status filter and select "Unclaimed" (this will include statuses like Unopened, Opened, and Unwrapped).

  • You will now see a targeted list of everyone who still needs to take action.

2. Push a Manual Reminder 📩

While Snappy's system automatically sends periodic reminders to recipients, sometimes an email gets buried in a busy inbox. You can manually bump the gift notification back to the top of their list!

  • From your filtered "Unclaimed" list on the Gift Activity page, simply click the "Resend All" button.

  • Note: This is a fantastic strategy to use 24–48 hours before a campaign is set to expire.

3. Send an Internal Heads-Up 📣

Sometimes, employees see a gift email and assume it’s a phishing attempt or spam—especially if it's the very first time your company has used Snappy!

Best Practice: Send a quick internal message (via Slack, Teams, or a company-wide email) before or immediately after your campaign launches:
"Hi Team! Keep an eye on your inbox today for a special 'Thank You' from the leadership team, powered by Snappy Gifts. It is safe to click and claim your reward!"

4. Check Your IT Allowlist 🛑

If you have a high volume of "Unopened" gifts, your company's internal firewall or spam filter is likely blocking the delivery of the notification emails.

The Fix:

  • Send our Approved Senders List to your IT department. They can easily update your company's network settings to ensure all future Snappy emails safely land in your employees' primary inboxes.
