How do I create an Impact Hub account?

Updated today

Creating an Impact Hub account gives you a personal login so you can sign in to Impact Hub. This step is required before you can access dashboards or reports, but creating an account by itself does not grant access to any data.

Access to data and dashboards is managed separately by an Apricot Administrator, who must add you to a connected Apricot site after your account is created.

Before you start

  • You must use the same email address you use for other Bonterra products, such as Apricot.

  • If you already have an account with Nonprofit Hub, you do not need to create a new Impact Hub account. You can use the same credentials to sign in to Impact Hub for Apricot.

  • You need access to that email inbox to complete verification.

  • Creating an Impact Hub account does not automatically connect you to data or assign a role.

Create your Impact Hub account

  1. On the sign-in screen, select Sign up.

3. Enter the same email address you use to sign in to Apricot for your Impact Hub account.

Important: If you use a different email address, your Impact Hub account will not be able to connect to your Apricot site.

4. Check your email for a six-digit verification code.

  • The email will have the subject line “Verify your identity.”

  • It will be sent from a http://bonterratech.com domain.

  • If you do not receive the email within three minutes, check your junk or spam folders.

5. Enter the verification code to confirm your identity.

6. Create a password that meets the on-screen security requirements.

7. After completing setup, sign in to Impact Hub.

Once these steps are complete, your Impact Hub account is created and ready to use.

What happens next

After you create your account, you may still see limited access when you sign in. This is expected.

To view dashboards or build reports:

  • An Apricot Administrator must connect your Apricot site to Impact Hub.

  • The administrator must then add you to the data connection and assign the appropriate role.

If you can sign in but do not see dashboards or reporting tools, your account is working correctly—you just haven’t been granted access yet.
