Inviting another organization to your Service Provider Network allows them to participate as a Network Member. Invitations are sent by the Network Lead and must be accepted before an organization becomes part of the Network.
Inviting an organization does not share data or Data Standards automatically. Membership and data sharing are always controlled and opt-in.
Before you start
You must be an Apricot Administrator for the Network Lead organization.
The Service Provider Network must already be created.
You need the email address of the invited organization’s point of contact.
Invite an organization to your Network
In Apricot, go to Administrator.
Open Workflow Station, then select Networks.
From the My Networks list, select the Network you want to manage.
Select the three-dot (⋯) menu and choose Invite Agency.
5. Enter the email address of the agency’s point of contact.
6. (Optional) Add a custom message to provide context about the Network or explain why the organization is being invited.
7. Select Invite Agency to send the invitation.
An email invitation and unique invite link are sent to the designated contact.
Track invitation status
Network Leads can review invitation activity at any time.
To view invitation status:
Open the Network from the My Networks list.
Select the three-dot (⋯) menu and choose Manage Invitations.
From this view, you can:
See all invitations that have been sent
Check whether each invitation is Invited or Accepted
Copy the invitation link to share directly with an organization if needed
Once an organization accepts the invitation, it becomes an active Network Member.
Important things to know
Invitations are organization-specific and must be accepted to join the Network.
Accepting an invitation does not automatically implement any Data Standards.
Network Members choose whether and how to implement shared Data Standards.
You can resend or share invitation links if an organization has trouble locating the original email.
