Session 1, Day 1 Programs: A Fresh Start for Every Client
Unlike Group Rolling Calendars, where clients might jump into ongoing training sessions already in progress, Session 1, Day 1 programs offer a tailored starting point for every new client. This means that each participant begins their journey at Day 1, ensuring they don’t skip essential steps or feel outpaced by others.
How It Works
Choose Your Start Date
New clients have the freedom to decide when their program begins. For instance, if someone subscribes on a Friday, they can set their start date for the following Monday and kick things off fresh.Daily Training Progression
Once they start, clients receive their first 7 days of training. Each night, the system updates and unlocks the next day’s content, keeping them moving steadily through the program.Coach Updates Made Easy
Any updates made by a coach will automatically sync for all clients once per day, ensuring a seamless and up-to-date experience.

Understanding Program Types and Scheduling Policies
FITR offers two main program categories: Fixed-Length Programs (like Session 1 Day 1) and Group Rolling Calendar (GRC). Fixed-Length Programs allow clients to set their own start dates and reschedule within their exercise period. GRC programs, however, follow a strict group-based schedule where participant rescheduling is not allowed.
Group Rolling Calendar programs ensure all participants access the same content on the same calendar day and do not allow clients to reschedule. Coaches opt for this type when group synchronization is a priority.
1 - Create a Session 1 Day 1 Program
The program can be thought of like a product regards which you’ll describe and define program settings, welcome messages, waivers etc and set a price for it.
2 - Start Writing Content
You only write the program content once. This is how you can efficiently program and coach thousands of clients in one go, whilst features in FITR, such as Personal Records, still ensure the experience feels individualised and personal as much as possible.
All the clients you sign up will be seeing the same calendar schedule and the same content. On a Session 1 Day 1 program clients can and often will be on very different days and weeks of the same program.
3 - Invite Clients
The content of a Session 1 Day 1 program is not bespoke to each client. Any changes a coach makes to the content affects all clients with access to that program.
Streamlined Scheduling for Coaches
Managing a Session 1, Day 1 program is simple, thanks to a single progressive calendar.
New Clients Start from Scratch
Everyone begins with Session 1, Day 1, Week 1, following a logical progression that builds a strong foundation.Fresh Training Content
Coaches can add new training material ahead of the most advanced client in the program, ensuring ongoing value for all participants.Flexibility for Rescheduling
Clients have the ability to reschedule their sessions within their current week. Coaches can also adjust schedules as needed, offering ultimate flexibility.
Best Practices for Coaches
When choosing a program type, consider whether your clients need flexibility (offered by fixed-length programs like Session 1 Day 1) or synchronized content access (offered by GRC programs).
Encourage clients to select start dates aligned with their routines or fitness goals for optimal engagement.
Key Features of the Program
Ongoing Subscription Model
Clients stay engaged with a continuous flow of training content.Visibility for Planning
The system defaults to showing training plans 7 days ahead, giving clients a clear view of their upcoming sessions.Personalized Progression
Each client’s experience is unique, as they move through the program at their own pace, starting from the beginning.
With this setup, both clients and coaches can enjoy a structured, intuitive, and highly customizable program. It’s all about creating a smooth experience that grows with each participant—no jumping in halfway, no confusion, just steady, tailored progress.
