[Ads] How to Stop a Campaign & Claim Your Credit

Learn how to stop an active campaign from your dashboard and how your unspent budget is automatically applied as credit for your next campaign.

When should I stop a campaign?

You might want to stop a campaign if:

  • You're no longer promoting the track or playlist

  • You want to pause spend before renewal

  • You're planning to switch creatives or strategy

  • You want your unspent budget saved as credit for a future campaign


Part 1: How to stop your campaign

Step 1: Open your campaign

Head to your Soundlink dashboard and open the active campaign you want to stop.

Step 2: Click the Manage button

Next to the Auto-renew toggle, you'll see a Manage button. Click that.

Step 3: Select "Stop campaign"

From the menu, select Stop campaign. This immediately stops the campaign from running further ads.

A couple of things to know:

  • Stopping a campaign immediately halts all future spend

  • You won't be charged beyond what's already been delivered

  • Your unspent budget will be automatically applied as credit to your account


Part 2: Your unspent budget becomes credit

As of June 16, 2026, Soundlink no longer processes monetary refunds for stopped campaigns, in line with our updated Terms & Conditions. Instead, any unspent budget is automatically converted into Soundlink credit — no request needed.

Here's how it works:

  • Automatic: The credit is applied to your account as soon as the campaign is stopped — you don't need to contact us

  • Use it on your next campaign: Credit can be applied when launching a new campaign

  • Not applicable to renewals: Credit cannot be applied to existing campaigns or renewal charges

  • No cash refunds: As of June 16, 2026, refunds are no longer available per our updated Terms & Conditions. All unspent budget is returned exclusively as account credit
