[Billing] Auto-Recharge: Keep Your Credit Wallet Topped Up Automatically

No more manual top-ups or missed low-balance emails. Auto-Recharge automatically tops up your Credit Wallet whenever your balance is insufficient to cover campaign renewals, so your campaigns keep running without interruption.

What is Auto-Recharge?

Auto-Recharge is an optional setting on your Credit Wallet. Instead of remembering to add funds before your balance runs out, you turn it on, set a threshold, and Soundlink tops up your wallet automatically whenever your balance drops below it.

This is especially useful for managed or long-running campaigns, where a missed manual top-up could otherwise cause a campaign renewal to fail.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Settings → Credit wallet & payment methods.

  2. In the Auto-recharge section, use the Enable auto-recharge toggle to turn the feature on.

  3. Set your threshold — the balance level that triggers a recharge — and your recharge amount.

  4. Optionally, turn on Monthly cap (USD) and enter a maximum amount — this is the most we'll auto-charge your card per calendar month. Leave the toggle off for no monthly limit.

How it works

  • Soundlink checks your wallet balance against your threshold. When the balance drops below it, your saved card is charged for your set recharge amount, and credits are added to your wallet as soon as the payment succeeds.

  • If a campaign renewal needs more credits than you currently have, Auto-recharge can also fund that shortfall so the renewal keeps running.

  • If you've set a monthly cap, it resets each calendar month and blocks further auto-recharge charges once reached — even if your balance is still below your threshold.

  • You can turn off Auto-Recharge at any time — your running campaigns are not affected, and no future auto-charges will occur.

Common questions

Is Auto-Recharge required?
No — it's optional and can be turned off any time. You can keep topping up manually instead; see How to Top Up Your Credit Wallet →.

Can I control how much gets charged?
Yes — you set both the balance threshold that triggers a recharge and the recharge amount itself. You can also set a monthly cap to limit the total your card can be auto-charged in a calendar month.

What happens if my card is declined during an auto-recharge?
The charge fails and your wallet balance is not increased. If your balance then remains insufficient, running campaigns will follow the normal low-balance / renewal failure behaviour — update your payment method and top up to resume them.

Will I still get low-balance emails?
Yes. If Auto-Recharge is off, or a triggered charge fails, you'll still receive the existing low-balance email alerts.

Does this change how I'm charged for campaigns?
No — Auto-Recharge only adds funds to your Credit Wallet. How your campaigns spend from that wallet (upfront debit, auto-renewal, refunds on stop) is unchanged.
