The course progress statistics deletion feature gives administrators full control over learning data and allows them to manage results independently.
This is a convenient tool for situations such as restarting a course, enabling a retake or reassessment, or updating results after changes to the course structure.
🔐 Access Settings
Access to this feature is controlled by a dedicated checkbox in the administrator settings.
📌 The option is available only to users with the Administrator role. If the feature is not enabled, the “Delete Statistics” button will appear greyed out and inactive.
To grant an admin permission to delete statistics, go to “Admin Roles”, click the three dots next to the desired admin, and select “Edit”:
Afterward, activate the checkbox, and the administrator will gain access to delete statistics.
❗ Important: Only the academy owner can grant administrators permission to delete statistics.
🔧 Feature Capabilities
Administrators can delete statistics in two ways depending on the need:
Selective deletion
Bulk deletion
1️⃣ Selective Deletion
In an individual learner’s profile, you can delete statistics for a specific course.
This is useful if you need to:
Allow the learner to retake the course;
Reset results after an error;
Update data after changes in the learning program.
To delete statistics for a specific learner in a particular course, go to the learner’s profile. Click the three dots next to the course and select “Delete Statistics”:
To prevent accidental deletion, a confirmation modal will appear. You must manually enter the key phrase Delete Statistics to confirm:
❗ Important: Once confirmed, data will be permanently deleted. The system will completely clear:
Course analytics and reports;
Quiz results;
Issued certificates.
The learner’s progress will reset to 0%. Effectively, the course starts “from scratch” for the learner.
2️⃣ Bulk Deletion
In the Course Statistics section, administrators can delete statistics for an entire course for all learners.
This option is appropriate if:
The course has been updated and learning needs to be restarted;
Outdated or test statistics need to be cleared;
Data needs to be quickly refreshed for a large number of users.
To delete statistics for a course for all learners, go to Course Statistics, select the course:
Сlick the three dots next to the course name, and then choose “More” → “Delete Statistics”:
As with selective deletion, a confirmation modal will appear. You must manually enter the key phrase: Delete Statistics.
Without entering this phrase, deletion is not possible.
❗ Important: Once confirmed, all data will be permanently deleted. The system will completely clear:
Course analytics and reports;
Quiz results;
Learners’ progress;
Issued certificates.
All learners’ progress in the selected course will reset to 0%. Effectively, the course starts “from scratch” for all learners.
