All accommodation requests for Acuity Insights Assessments are reviewed case by case to ensure equal opportunity for every applicant.

Casper accommodations

To request accommodations, you must submit the following at least 4 weeks before your scheduled Casper test:

Casper Accommodations Request Form – Part 1 and Part 2
Any supporting documentation (e.g., medical reports or professional evaluations)

This 4-week period allows enough time for your documents to be reviewed and for any approved accommodations to be applied.

Video Interviews accommodations

Note: scribes and dictation software are not required for Video Interviews.

Already approved for Casper accommodations?

If accommodations have already been approved and applied to your upcoming Casper reservation, please email accommodations@acuityinsights.com with "Video Interviews" in the subject line to request that they also be applied to your upcoming Video Interviews.

Requesting accommodations for only Video Interviews

If you would like accommodations for Video Interviews alone (and not Casper), you must submit the following at least 2 weeks before your scheduled Video Interviews:

How to send your documents

You can submit your documents in one of two ways:

Once your request is received, we will confirm receipt typically within 1 business day.

Confidentiality of your information

All accommodation statuses and documents you submit are strictly confidential and not shared with academic programs, unless it is necessary to report a breach of our Terms of Use.

Approval process

If your accommodations are approved, you will receive an email with an information package outlining your accommodations, and an accommodated version of the Practice Test (if required).

Important notes for Casper accommodations

In exceptional cases, the 4-week submission deadline may be waived, for example:

During the second round of the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS)
In cases of medical emergencies

If this applies to you, please contact the Acuity Insights Team as soon as possible with your completed request to see if an exception is possible.
