All accommodation requests for Acuity Insights Assessments are reviewed case by case to ensure equal opportunity for every applicant.
How to submit your request
To request accommodations, you must submit the following:
Acuity Insights Accommodations Request Form – Part 1 and Part 2
Any supporting documentation (e.g., medical reports or professional evaluations)
Submission deadlines
Casper and Professional Skills Development: Submit all required materials at least four (4) weeks before your scheduled assessment date.
Video Interviews: Submit all required materials at least two (2) weeks before your scheduled interview date, or as soon as possible.
Note: scribes and dictation software are not required for Video Interviews.
Submitting your request by the applicable deadline helps ensure that there is sufficient time to review your documentation and implement any approved accommodations before your assessment.
How to send your documents
You can submit your documents in one of two ways:

Contact us to request a secure link to upload your files to an encrypted folder
Once your request is received, we will confirm receipt typically within 1 business day.
Confidentiality of your information
All accommodation statuses and documents you submit are strictly confidential and not shared with academic programs, unless it is necessary to report a breach of our Terms of Use.
Approval process
If your accommodations are approved, you will receive an email with an information package outlining your accommodations, and an accommodated version of the Practice Test (if required).

Important notes
In exceptional cases, the submission deadline may be waived, for example:
During the second round of the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS)
In cases of medical emergencies
If this applies to you, please contact the Acuity Insights Team as soon as possible with your completed request to see if an exception is possible.
If you haven’t reserved your Casper assessment yet but wish to submit a request for accommodations, you can do so at any time. However, the request must be submitted according to the applicable deadlines.
