Unless stated otherwise, approved accommodations are valid from the date listed in your approval letter until July 31st, two calendar years after the year in which they were approved.
Example
If your accommodations are approved in 2025, they will remain valid until July 31, 2027. You can use them for any Casper test you take during that time.
Can I Extend My Accommodations?
Yes. You can request an extension by submitting the Extension Request Form (see section 5.2 of the Acuity Insights Accommodations Policy).
The same accommodations previously approved will apply
Extensions can only be granted for up to 5 years from the original year of approval
How Are Accommodations Applied?
Once approved, your accommodations are automatically applied by the Acuity Insights Team to any current Casper reservations that fall within your validity period.
What Should I Do If I Book a New Exam While I Have Approved Accommodations?
If you book a new Casper test during your validity period, you must:
Contact the Acuity Insights Team at support@acuityinsights.app
Do this at least one (1) week before your new test date and time
This ensures your accommodations are properly applied to your new Casper test.
What Happens If I Don’t Notify Acuity Insights?
If you don’t inform the team at least one week in advance:
Your accommodations may not be applied to your new reservation, or
Your exam may need to be rescheduled to a later date
