An outdated or unsupported browser
A slow or unstable internet connection
Unsupported browsers can cause errors not only during the test but also during registration.
Supported browsers
Only two browsers support the AcuityInsights.app website:
❌ Other browsers such as Safari, Edge, or Internet Explorer are not supported.
Smartphones and tablets are also not supported; desktop or laptop computers are required to access the Acuity Insights platform effectively.
Steps to fix video issues (try in this order)
Refresh your browser
Update your browser or switch to Chrome/Firefox
Restart your computer
Use Incognito/Private Browsing mode
Test your internet speed (You need a high speed internet connection with a bitrate of at least 1.5 Mbps)
Clear your browser's cache to address potential compatibility errors.
Mac users note
Some Mac users have reported issues using Chrome. If this happens, please switch to the latest version of Firefox for better compatibility.
