As of the 2023-2024 admissions cycle, applicants are entitled to an optional 10 minute break after the video-response section, then an optional 5-minute break after the first 4 scenarios of the typed section.

During these breaks, you can take this time to stretch and relax. As well, please feel free to step out of the view of your webcam to go to the washroom, or grab a quick snack or refreshment.

After the breaks, your Casper test will automatically resume, so please ensure that you have returned to your computer before your break time has expired.

If you would like to proceed directly to the remainder of your test before the breaks have passed, you can click the “Next” button at any point.

Please ensure to familiarize yourself with the standard Casper test format in order to reduce test day anxiety and to ensure no technical issues prevent you from having a smooth test. A Practice Test is available in the Casper section of your Acuity Insights account.
