This article will talk you through how to set up multiple follow up messages to be sent to your patients after their appointment within Aesthetic Nurse Software.
By having multiple follow up messages after a patient leaves clinic this helps you to continue to build a relationship with your patients. Sending an intial follow up just to ask how they are feeling after clinic is a nice touch. You could then send another follow up to request a review from the patient and another a month later to do a final check in.

Create A New Template
Step 1 :
From the main menu, click to enter settings.
Step 2 :
Then from settings head to SMS/Email templates under the heading notifications.
Step 3 :
In your SMS/Email templates, you will just need to create a new template for the follow up by selecting the 'Add New Template' option.
Step 4 :
You will then need to just select the type of template you wish to create which will be a 'Follow Up' and then name the follow up, for example 'Review Request'.
Step 5 :
You will then be able to write in the main text box what you would like the new follow up to say. You can also use the tags provided to personalise the follow up.
Step 6 :
Once happy with the template, you can select 'Save Details' and your new template will be added to the list.
Setting Up The Follow Up
Step 7 :
Head back to settings and under the heading notifications you will find notification settings.
Step 8 :
You will then need to head to the follow up tab.
Step 9 :
Within the follow up section, you will need to select 'New Appointment Follow Up'
Step 10 :
You will need to add how you would like the follow up to be sent, which template will be sent to the patient and when you would like the follow up to be sent.
Step 11 :
Once happy, hit save details.
Sending The Follow Up
Step 12 :
To actually send the multiple follow up messages, you will need to head to the diary.
Step 13 :
You will then just need to click on the appointment in the diary. This can either be done from the month view or the day view.
Step 14 :
Once you have clicked on the appointment, you will find 3 options for the status of the appointment. You will just need to select the arrived button.
Step 4 :
This will then trigger the multiple follow up messages to be sent to your patients at the designated time you have set in the settings area.
You will need to just make sure if you would like a follow up message to be sent to your patients that the arrived button has been selected on the appointment.
