Sending A Payment Link To Your Patients

Learn how to send a payment link to your patients within Aesthetic Nurse Software.

This article will talk you through how to send a payment link to your patient using ANS. A payment link can be sent to your patients via email to request a sum of money for either a deposit or full payment for treatment.

Some practitioners will use the payment link option to ask patients for a deposit for any manually booked appointments.

To take payments through the software, you will need to have a Stripe account created. To learn how to create a Stripe account, search for 'Taking Deposits' in our guides.

Step 1 :

From the main menu, select to enter the diary area.

Step 2 :

Find the appointment you wish to send a payment link for in the diary and click on the appointment. You may need to enter the day view of the diary to find the appointment.

Step 3 :

Once you click on the appointment you will be brought to an appointment summary box where you will just need to choose the payment tab.

Step 4 :

Then choose 'Take Payment'

Step 5 :

From there, you will be able to choose the payment type then the amount you want to request and finally to send this amount as a payment link to your patient.

There are currently 3 methods of payment within the software, sending a payment link, pay by card and charge card on file. If you would like to learn about other payment methods in ANS. Just seach 'Payment Options' in our guides.


This will then send an invoice to your patient via email for them to pay the amount sent.


If you would like to view if the invoice has been paid by your patients.

Step 1:

Head back to the appointment in the diary and click payments again. Then you will see a view payment option.

Step 2 :

You will then be given the information on if the payment link has been paid or is still outstanding. Once paid, this information will pull through to your invoice at the end of your treatment documentation.
