Pin-point accurate citations across all your documents

When generating content, citations now point to the precise location where information was sourced, across all file types. For spreadsheets, it highlights the exact cell ranges. For documents and presentations, it navigates directly to the relevant page. This makes it easier than ever to verify information and trace it back to the original source, building greater trust in your outputs. Navigate to 'Source' on your output preview screen and select the source number beside the slide to see it in action - see more here.

Rolling Updates in Live Testing

Take an existing document and automatically update the key data, charts, tables and commentary for the latest period; Aether's new capabilities cut regular reporting from hours to minutes.

The Aether team is testing the first round of Rolling Update pieces in collaboration with a number of customers - from NPS to Account Reviews. Get in touch if you have a regular report you'd like us to trial!

We've also been working on making the platform more powerful and intuitive. Here are some of the key improvements:

Sources library document previews: clicking on documents in the Sources library will now show a preview of the document instead of downloading it.
New 'Viewer' Role: We've added a 'Viewer' role, giving you more flexibility in managing team permissions. Viewers can see outputs but cannot create or edit them - ask us for more information.
"My Outputs" Filter: You can now filter the outputs library to show only the documents you have created, making it much easier to find and manage your work.
Enhanced Outline Controls: We've added more controls directly to the outline view, allowing you to regenerate or delete individual slides without affecting the rest of the document.
Proactive Support: Our team now receives real-time alerts for failed uploads, allowing us to resolve issues much faster.

Bug Fixes and Usability Improvements:

Delete action is now safer; you can't delete a file while processing, and associated data is correctly removed on source deletion.
We fixed bugs related to case-sensitive file extensions and incorrect table identification, making uploads more reliable.

Sources as footnotes

We’ve been working hard to make the source information for each Aether slide transparent, and that effort has paved the way for a much-awaited feature: source citations on your slides.

Including footnotes in your presentations will give your audience confidence in the findings and data, even when it is downloaded and circulated far away from the Aether platform.
