At KINNECT, we strive to maintain a professional and consistent approach when handling assessment results. It's crucial for our affiliates to understand the importance of not discussing these results directly with candidates. Here’s why and how to manage such situations effectively.

The Importance of Confidentiality

Assessment results, particularly re-employment results, are sensitive pieces of information. These results are meant solely for the Employer to determine the suitability of a candidate for the job they have applied for. Discussing these results with candidates can lead to misunderstandings, misinterpretations, and could potentially compromise the integrity of the hiring process.

Common Scenarios and How to Handle Them

Sometimes, candidates may ask about their performance during the assessment. They might say things like, "How did I do?" or "I have already been doing the job" or "My supervisor told me...". In these cases, it is essential to clearly communicate that the purpose of the assessment is to collect information for the Employer. Here’s how you can handle such inquiries:

  • Be Transparent Yet Firm: Politely inform the candidate that the assessment results are compiled and sent directly to the Employer, who will make the final decision regarding their application.

Example Response: "I understand your interest in knowing the outcome. Our role here is to gather information for your Employer, who will review the results and inform you of their decision."

  • Avoid Giving Specific Feedback: Even if the candidate insists, it’s crucial not to divulge any specifics about their performance during the assessment.

Example Response: "The results are confidential and are sent directly to your Employer for review. They will communicate with you regarding any next steps."

Procedure for Sending Results

All assessment results must be submitted through Carelever Forms or sent via email to pepresults@kinnect.com.au. The only exception to this rule is when results must be provided to the candidate due to Government Legislation requirements, such as Commercial Drivers Medical assessments.

Handling Delays

If there is any anticipated delay in sending the results, KINNECT must be notified immediately. Our commitment to fast turnaround times is a key differentiator from our competitors, and it is imperative that our affiliates support us in meeting our clients’ expectations.

Summary

  • Do not discuss assessment results with candidates.

  • Results should be sent to KINNECT only via Carelever Forms or email to pepresults@kinnect.com.au.

  • Notify KINNECT immediately if there will be any delay in sending the results.

By adhering to these guidelines, we ensure a fair and professional process for all candidates while maintaining the high standards that set KINNECT apart. Thank you for your cooperation and dedication to excellence.
