How your earnings are calculated
Commission is paid out on the Airbnb service fee. It is not calculated on the trip price. The Airbnb service fee is shown in your dashboard as the order sale amount. It includes the guest fee plus the host fee. Some listings carry a host fee only.
Your Creator Hub shows the order sale amount and the calculated commission for every booking.
Example. A booking with a $3,000 trip price might generate $200 in Airbnb service fees. Your commission is calculated on the $200.
How bookings are credited
Your storefront and every link you share carry your tracking. A booking is credited to you when a traveler reaches Airbnb through one of them and books within the attribution window. That covers browsing your storefront and clicking through to a listing, and following a link you posted directly.
Credit policy | Last click. The most recent tracked click wins. If a traveler reaches Airbnb through another creator's storefront or link after yours, the booking is credited to them instead. Coupon, cashback and browser-extension partners are covered by the stand down policy, which keeps the credit with you. |
Attribution window | Booking must occur within 14 days from the click through to Airbnb |
Payout timing is based on | The booking date, not the stay date |
Part-paid bookings | Commission on the full booking fees |
Payment schedule
The payment process begins at midnight UTC on the first of every month. You can expect to receive one or more links via email or text to complete your payments within the first few days of the month. See Claiming your payment.
The minimum commission payout is $5. If your payout would be less than $5, the balance rolls over into the next pay period.
Total time from booking to payment link sent: about 30 to 60 days, depending on where in the month the booking fell.
Tracking your earnings in your Creator Hub
The Earnings tab in your Creator Hub is where you can track all attributed bookings and commissions payouts, both upcoming and historical. Your Creator Hub reports in US dollars.
Term | Shown in your Earnings tab as |
Bookings | Sales |
Order Sale Amount | Revenue |
Every booking moves through three statuses: Awaiting Approval, Approved & Awaiting Payment, Paid.
Example. A booking made any time in February appears in Awaiting Approval on the booking date, locks on March 4, and pays out on April 1.
Status | When | What you see in your Earnings tab |
Awaiting Approval | From the booking date until the 4th of the following month | Bookings credited to you that have not yet been approved by Airbnb. This means they are open to changes. A booking cancelled at this stage is removed. Commissions Pending shows what you would earn assuming all credited bookings are approved. |
Approved & Awaiting Payment | From the 4th until the 1st of the following month | On the 4th, all bookings from the previous month are approved by Airbnb and locked, meaning they can no longer be modified or reversed. Commissions Expected shows your earnings from locked bookings that are waiting to be paid. Next Payment shows the subset of locked bookings that have been invoiced to be paid out on the upcoming 1st of the month. |
Paid | On the 1st of the month, at midnight UTC | The payout run releases your locked commission. Tremendous then sends your payment links by email or text. Larger payouts arrive as more than one link; see Payout limits. All Time Earnings shows every booking that has been paid out to you. Commissions Paid shows the total you have received. |
Claiming your payment
LoudCrowd sends your commission payments via our payments partner, Tremendous. You will receive one or more payment links from rewards@reward.tremendous.com, or by text if your payouts are set up that way.
Open the link
Select how to receive the money and follow the prompts
No payout method or bank details are required in advance. No invoice is required.
Add rewards@reward.tremendous.com to your contacts. A filtered email is the most common cause of a payout that appears to be missing.
Receiving payment in another currency
All payments are sent in US dollars.
You can choose to complete your payout in another currency. Currency conversion is applied at the time you complete the transaction, at the exchange rate that applies on the day. The local amount is not fixed in advance.
Payout limits
Two limits apply to every payout:
Maximum sent in one payment link | $10,000 |
Maximum you can redeem per day | $10,000 |
You will always receive your payment in full. If your payout exceeds $10,000, you will receive multiple emails or texts, each with a separate payment link. You can redeem up to $10,000 per day, the maximum sent per payment link.
Example. A $30,000 payout arrives as three payment links on the same day, which you can redeem over three days.
If a payout hasn't arrived
Search your inbox for rewards@reward.tremendous.com, including spam and promotions
Check the email address on your creator account. Payouts go there, which isn't always the inbox you check most
Check your texts, if payouts are sent that way
Check your Earnings tab. Bookings still in Awaiting Approval had not been approved by Airbnb before the payout run and will be included in a future payout
Bookings still in Approved & Awaiting Payment after the 1st were not part of this payout. If they were showing in Next Payment before the 1st, the payout may not have completed yet
Check that your Next Payment is more than $5. Payments under $5 are held to the next pay cycle
If you still have questions about a missing payout or the payment you received does not match what is showing in your Earnings, use the Creator Coach in your Creator Hub to start an investigation and get support.
If a payout was smaller than expected
A booking was cancelled before the lock date
A booking had not locked before the run
Your rate applies to the Airbnb service fee, not the trip price
The exchange rate applied when you claimed
Your Earnings tab always shows the current figure.
If a booking hasn't appeared
Bookings may be reported to your Hub with a delay of up to 48 hours. Be patient while booking data reaches the system.
If a booking is still missing after that, the most common reasons are:
Another creator or partner won the click. The traveler reached Airbnb through someone else's link after yours, and the last click wins
The traveler did not click through one of your affiliate links before booking, for example by searching Airbnb directly
The traveler switched devices and booked on one where they had not used your link
The traveler's privacy settings, private browsing, or an ad blocker prevented tracking cookies
The booking happened more than 14 days after the click, outside the attribution window
If you would like help investigating a missing booking, ask the Creator Coach in your Creator Hub.
Common questions
Is my commission a share of the whole booking?
No. It's a percentage of the Airbnb service fee collected on the booking, not of the trip price.
What are Impact and Tremendous?
Impact tracks your links and credits bookings to you; you never log into it. Tremendous sends your payment links when a payout runs.
Is there a minimum before I get paid?
Yes, $5. If your payout would be less than that, the balance rolls over into the next pay period.
Do I need to send an invoice?
No. Commission is calculated and paid automatically.
Do I need to add bank details or pick a payout method?
No, and not in advance. You select how to receive the money when you claim.
Why is everything in dollars?
Airbnb settles the program in US dollars. You select your currency when you claim.
Someone booked in February for a trip in August. When am I paid?
On the February schedule: locked March 4, paid out April 1.
They cancelled after the lock date. Do I lose the commission?
No. Once locked, it is not reversed.
Why is a booking still Awaiting Approval?
Bookings lock on the 4th of the following month. Until then they show as Awaiting Approval.
Why is my Next Payment $0.00?
In the first few days of a month, Next Payment is often $0.00. The previous batch was paid on the 1st, and last month's bookings do not lock until the 4th. In September, for example, Next Payment (October 1) shows your August bookings; your September bookings lock on October 4 and pay out on November 1.
A booking shows Approved but is not in Next Payment. Why?
Next Payment only includes locked bookings that have been invoiced for the upcoming 1st of the month. Locked bookings that have not yet been invoiced stay in Commissions Expected until they are.
Why did I receive multiple payment emails or texts?
You received more than one because each email or text carries a unique payment link. Each payment link is for up to $10,000, and you can redeem up to $10,000 per day. A payout above $10,000 is split across several emails or texts that all arrive at the same time. A $30,000 payout, for example, arrives as three payment links on the same day, which you can redeem over three days.
Who do I contact if something is wrong?
Ask the Creator Coach in your Creator Hub. It can explain how the process works and start an investigation for you.

Change Notification Period | The terms can be changed or cancelled by Airbnb with 0 days notice to the Creator. |
