About Your Airbnb Creator Program

Your storefront and collections, what travelers see, how bookings are credited, and how you get paid.

How your Airbnb creator program works — your storefront and collections, what travelers see, and how bookings turn into commission. Worth reading before you start, and worth coming back to.

Read this first: Program Guidelines — everything Airbnb asks of you as a creator, in one place. How to disclose the partnership, host permission, the music you can use, and what to keep out of frame.

Your storefront

You have your own page on createwithairbnb.com, with a link that's unique to you, where you curate the Airbnb products you want to recommend. You'll find your link in the Share Your Storefront Links panel on your Creator Hub Dashboard. It's a LoudCrowd page rather than part of airbnb.com, which is why editing happens here and booking happens on Airbnb.

When someone taps a product on your page, they go straight through to Airbnb to look at it and book. There's no in-between page on your storefront.

Collections are how you organize it

A collection is a themed set of products you've put together. Collections are the main thing travelers browse.

Your storefront opens on All, showing every collection as a card. Tap a collection and you see the products inside it. The navigation stays visible the whole time, so people can move between them.

Each collection card shows two things automatically:

  • Its destinations — worked out from the products inside it, so you never set this yourself. A collection covering several places shows something like Punta Mita + 4 more destinations.

  • A total count — for example 7 Products.

A collection can span more than one place. That's deliberate — name yours around the idea rather than the location. Surf Towns Worth the Flight works better than a single city name, because the destinations line already tells people where.

Stays and Experiences

What you add comes in two kinds, and each carries a badge showing which it is:

  • Stay — somewhere to stay the night

  • Experience — something to do

You can mix both in one collection. Prices and ratings aren't shown on your storefront — travelers see those on Airbnb once they click through, so nothing on your page can go stale.

Adding products to a collection

Two ways, both from the + button on your storefront:

  • Quick Add — copy the URL of a product on Airbnb and paste it in, then choose which collection it belongs to

  • Inspire Me — browse what's been featured and tap the heart on anything you want, then choose a collection

You can also edit your collection names and descriptions at any time, and reorder what's in them.

Note: Only certain products can be added and earn commission — it isn't the whole of Airbnb. If you see "this product is unavailable", pick a different one.

Travelers can search your storefront

There's a search box in the toolbar that looks across your collection names, product titles, and destinations, grouped into Collections and Stays & Experiences.

Worth knowing because it rewards clear naming — a collection called Cabins Within Driving Distance is findable in a way Collection 2 isn't.

Your content, and what travelers see

Your own posts appear on your storefront too — alongside the collections and inside them, linked through the products you've tagged.

One rule worth knowing up front: travelers only see content that has products tagged. Anything untagged stays visible to you while you're logged in, so nothing is lost — tagging is what publishes it, and it also files that post under every collection those products belong to.

Sharing

You can share your whole storefront, a single collection, or one product. Collection links are the most useful day to day — if a post is about one trip or one theme, send people to that collection rather than the front page.

How bookings are credited to you

Your links carry your credit. Every link you copy from your Creator Hub or your storefront is tracked, so a booking made after someone follows it is attributed to you automatically.

That's the whole mechanism — there's nothing for travelers to enter, and nothing for you to remember. Just share links you copied rather than a URL from your browser's address bar.

Your commission

Airbnb tracks your bookings through Impact, and you're paid through LoudCrowd's system by Tremendous. A booking is confirmed before it becomes payable — that step is what makes your commission final, rather than something that could be reversed after you've been paid.

Bookings move through four stages, shown on your Earnings tab:

  • Pending — recorded, waiting to be confirmed. Everything starts here.

  • Approved — confirmed, and your commission is locked in.

  • Ready to be paid — a short wait after approval, then it joins your next payout.

  • Reversed — cancelled or didn't qualify, so no commission.

Bookings are reported to your Hub rather than appearing the instant someone books, so a short delay is normal.

Getting paid

Payouts run once a month, at the month's end, through Tremendous, for balances over $5. You'll get a link by email — from rewards@reward.tremendous.com — or by text, to claim it and choose how you'd like the money. Nothing to set up in advance; you choose when you claim.

Worth doing now: add rewards@reward.tremendous.com to your contacts. A filtered payout email is the most common reason a creator thinks a payout hasn't arrived.

Your connected accounts

Your Instagram and TikTok accounts stay linked to your profile so your posts can be matched to you. If you change a handle, update it in your Hub straight away — before your next post.

Two things you can't do yourself: changing your Instagram username, and linking a TikTok account you haven't added yet. Message the Airbnb team from the Messages tab and they'll sort both — for a username change, include your old one and your new one.

Messages — and how to reach a person

The Airbnb team can message you in the Messages tab of your Hub, and you can reply there or start a conversation yourself.

That tab is also how you get help. Anything you need a person for — your bookings, your commission, your payouts, your content, your storefront, a post that hasn't appeared, your connected accounts — message the Airbnb team from there. If Creator Coach couldn't answer your question, that's where to take it.

Messages sent to your Hub inbox don't always email you, so it's worth opening that tab when you log in.
