Mastering the Modern Account Information Page

Updated today

The Account Information page serves as the administrative command center for a family, consolidating billing, contact, and policy data into one view. It enables you to manage the high-level relationship with the primary bill payer while tracking the status of all linked students.

On the left of each customer's account page in Akada, you can use the menu to navigate to the contacts or various charge and payment options. The main information screen is divided into several collapsible sections.

Account Details - This primary section tracks core account data such as the account balance, policy agreement status, and primary contact info. It also manages financial settings like the tuition calculation method and billing frequency for the entire household.

Students - A summary table listing all students tied to the account, their current enrollment status, and their individual tuition totals. Use this area to quickly jump to a student's specific profile or view their total weekly class time.

Contacts - Houses detailed information for Parent 1, Parent 2, and up to four Emergency Contacts. This is where you verify cell phone numbers and check the status of text messaging subscriptions.

Credit Card Info - A secure area for managing saved payment methods, allowing you to enter new cards, request them from parents, or view a history of saved billing updates.

This section will not be visible if you have not established an account with one of our three credit card processors.

Messages - The hub for sending emails or text messages, featuring a built-in editor and the ability to pull from the uploaded files library.

Notes - A simple, internal-only log where you can add and view notes regarding specific family interactions or administrative reminders.

Groups - Displays custom group assignments for the account, making it easy to categorize families for targeted billing or filters.

Statement & Confirmation - An interactive tool to generate financial records, allowing you to filter by date or transaction type and send them via email or print.

Policy Agreements - This section tracks the status of studio waivers and allows you to request new electronic agreements or manually add agreements for families who sign via paper. It maintains a clear chronological log of who signed each policy and the type of signature used.
