Many studios use class cards as a way to manage drop-in classes for adults or for students who may want to try a few different types before fully committing to one. This is just a pre-paid "card" that buys the student a specific number of uses. The student info page in Akada Online gives you the ability to set up and manage such a class card.
To set up a Class Card:
Go to the Class card located in the collapsible section of the student information screen.
Select Edit.
Enter the number of card uses; and the expiration date of the card
Use the drop-down menu to associate the card with a specific class.*
Once complete hit the Save option.
*It is strictly studio preference whether to associate the card with a specific class or not. There is no requirement to do this. However, if you do wish to do that you must enroll the student in a class for it to appear in the drop-down menu.
Editing A Card:
You can easily edit a card by simply clicking on the setup/edit button. This allows you to edit the number of uses remaining, the expiration dates, and any classes the card may be assigned to.
To Record Card Use:
Choose class 1 or class 2 using the radio button on the left side of the screen (seen below).
Select Record Card use.
Enter the date of card use and hit enter attendance button.
You should see the number in the 'card uses left" box decreases each time the card is recorded and used.
Select Save to save your changes.
