Session Management - Clear Session Data

If you've created a session and copied data into it that you did not intend or just need to mark kids inactive who are not enrolled you can do that from the Clear Session Data screen. The options on this screen will allow to you delete session-specific pieces of information from all accounts or students at the same time.

To Clear Session Data:

  • Scroll down to the Settings options.

  • Select Session Management.

  • Select Clear Session Data.

  • Use the drop-down to choose the session that you want to clear data from.

  • Check the box next to any piece of data you want to clear.

  • Click the Clear Selected button.

  • The Confirm Clearing Session Data message will appear.

  • Enter your Akada login password.

  • Click the Clear Session Data button.

  • You will receive a pop-up confirming session data has been cleared successfully.

  • Click Okay to close the pop-up.

Make Students Inactive if Not Enrolled in Class - Selecting this option will deactivate any student who is not enrolled in a class for the chosen session.

Make Accounts Inactive if All Students are Inactive - This option allows you to mark all accounts that have no active students as inactive. If the account has multiple children and one is active then the account will remain as active.
