Akada Dashboard

New User Interfacing

Updated this week

You’ve upgraded to the new Akada Online! Congratulations, and welcome to the new look of Akada Online—a new look but still the same software with which you’re familiar with new options. Let’s look at the new Dashboard and explain what each section means. After reviewing this article, you can set your Dashboard Settings to your studio-specific needs.

Today’s Classes:

This section provides an overview of classes based on the day you log in. By changing the class date, you can review upcoming and past classes.

Using the arrow to the right of each class, you can view the roster, enter attendance (more on this as you read further), send a message, and quickly go to the Class Information page. You can view classes by selected teachers or set the view for all teachers and see all the classes scheduled for a specific day.

Aging A/R:

This section summarizes your accounts receivables, providing information usually available in our financial reports. Now, you can view it conveniently from the Dashboard.

Click on the balance amount to view the accounts and the balance due. Once on the account pop-up page, you can go directly to the account and view the transactions by selecting the arrow to the right of the account’s name.

Multiple Student Absences:

This section allows you to view multiple student absences. In the past, you would have had to pull attendance reports to determine this. Now, you can see it from the Dashboard. Set your days and absences, and the results will automatically update.

Missing Teacher Attendance:

If your studio has an issue with teachers failing to enter attendance, Akada has developed an easy way for you to see who has missed entering their attendance. You can also enter attendance for those missing teachers by clicking on the purple arrow on the right side of the class.

Partnered with the Akada Express Attendance app, attendance mishaps should be cut down.

Current Enrollment:

This feature clearly and concisely shows how many spaces are available for each class.

By clicking on the class title, you can view the class details and, if necessary, quickly access the class.

Waitlisted Students:

Not only can you see Enrollment from the Dashboard, but you can also view which students.

Using the arrow on the right, you can enroll and view the student and/or the class.

Historical Enrollment:

This feature allows you to monitor enrollment. You can adjust the Display option and Enrollment date to determine the number of students enrolled in each class.

After you have selected your Filter and enrollment date, click the Day on the left to get the Historical Enrollment pop-up. Use the arrows on the right to view details and/or go to the class.

How to Setup Your Dashboard:

Now that we understand what each dashboard section does and how it works, you’re ready to customize your Dashboard. Click on the gear icon at the top of the Dashboard to the right.

On the Dashboard Settings pop-up, select the features you want on your Dashboard. For features that you would like, select whether you want the option to be open or collapsed when first viewed. You can restrict or hide a feature that doesn’t fit your studio’s needs.
