How do I change an employee's permissions?

Set permissions from the People directory: open the three-dot menu to the right of the person's name, choose Edit Permissions, then pick Admin, Editor, Manager or Employee.

Permissions are set per person from the People directory. The full path is People → find the employee → the three-dot menu to the right of their name → Edit Permissions.

  1. Navigate to the "People" section, also known as the people directory.

  2. Locate the relevant employee.

  3. Click the ellipsis icon (three vertical dots) to the right of their name.

  4. Select the "Edit Permissions" option.

  5. A window will appear in the center of your screen.

  6. In the upper-left corner, you will see a box labeled "Role."

  7. Click the dropdown menu, where you will find four available options: Admin, Editor, Manager, and Employee.

  8. Choose the appropriate level of access for the employee.
Please note that the "Manager" permission requires specifying an "Area" and "District" to ensure the manager only has access to content relevant to their designated location.

A visual representation of this process is included below.

Only an account admin can change somebody else's permissions. If Edit Permissions is missing from the menu, you do not have the access to make the change.

Changing a permission is not the same as changing a role. A role under Directory is a job-title tag used for filtering and targeting content, and it grants no access. If somebody cannot reach something they should be able to, change their permission here — changing their role will do nothing.
