Map Explorer is one of the main features of AlphaMap. This is where you'll capture data and build reports. You can navigate to and from Map Explorer in the top bar.

There are three report categories in the left sidebar:

Parcel Reports

After selecting a location, or POI (Point of Interest), you'll find Parcel Reports in the first section of the left sidebar.

Under Parcel Reports, you'll find Property Records and Zoning.

  • Property Records: building and location details, current and possible owners' information, associated people, property sales, debts, and tax data.

  • Zoning: zoning information such as zoning details, permissions, uses, conditional uses, property rights, and prohibited use cases.

Area Reports

After selecting a location, or POI (Point of Interest), you'll find Area Reports in the second section of the left sidebar.

Area Reports includes Radius Rings Trade Area, Drive Time Trade Area, Demographics, and Car Traffic.

  • Radius Rings Trade Area: Access the trade area map with customizable radius rings, and gather data on consumer spend, population and demographics, and benchmarking.

  • Drive Time Trade Area: Access the trade area map with the option to edit the transportation type, time, and direction; and gather data on consumer spend, population and demographics, and benchmarking.

  • Demographics: Select your radius, and gather demographics info for the current year, 5 year forecast, and national average.

  • Car Traffic: Select car traffic time period, AADT (Annual Average Daily Traffic) by day, and AADT by hour.

Mobility Reports

After selecting a location, or POI (Point of Interest), you'll find Mobility Reports in the third section of the left sidebar.

📝 If gathering mobility reports for a location without existing POI data, you will need to first draw your custom polygon, and then click "Use Custom Area as Geofence" to collect mobility data.

Mobility Reports includes True Trade Area, Location Visits, Area Visits, Rank, and Shopping Center Overview.

  • True Trade Area: Select time period and visitor origin to see data on True Trade Area demographics by zip code or CBG (Census Block Group).

  • Location Visits: View estimated visitor trends (total and unique visitors), variance of visits, visits distribution (by hour or day), cross visitation, and length of stay.

  • Area Visits: Set a custom area radius around your selected location to view foot-traffic trends.

  • Rank: See how the selected location ranks within its brand on a national, state, and local level, with the option to compare against other brands or locations, for the selected time period.

  • Shopping Center Overview: With a Shopping Center POI selected, you'll be able to access a tenant overview, as well as the center's visitor trends (total and unique visitors), variance of visits, visits distribution (by hour or day), cross visitation, and length of stay.
