Being responsive is key to increasing the number of leads you win. We've created tools to help keep your lead board organized, which will ultimately help you respond to new customers as quickly as possible. Here are 3 tips we recommend to help keep your leads organized.

Tip #1 - Update the status of every lead

Each time you interact with a lead, update the status.

This will allow you to easily see where each lead stands in your pipeline and which leads need to be contacted.

To make status updates even easier, we’re also automatically updating the status of leads when we have information from the homeowner. See how actions impact your lead statuses below:

Lead status

Does this status update automatically?

Action taken

Initial or Uncontacted

None! Contact this homeowner ASAP to increase your chance of winning the job.

Contact and qualify

You’ve reached out to the homeowner via call or text. Don’t forget to follow up if needed!

Connected

You’ve talked to the homeowner for a minute or more using your connected business number OR you have exchanged at least one manual message or text using your connected business number.

Selling

Choose this status manually if you are in the process of selling your service to the homeowner.

In progress - won job

The homeowner has let us know that they have Hired your company for the job.

Closed - won job

The homeowner has marked the job as Complete.

Closed - did not win job

Choose this status manually if you and the homeowner are not completing the job together.

If a lead status updates automatically and you would prefer to move it to a different status, you get the final say! You can update the lead status on your end at any time. Your changes will not impact what the homeowner sees on their end.

Tip #2 - Rate every lead you receive

Within each lead, you'll have the option to provide a 1 through 5-star rating. Not only does this feedback help us understand where we can improve, it will help give you insight into what updates may need to be made on your account. To rate a lead, go to your Leads tab, select the lead you want to rate, and click the Rate lead quality button.

Tip #3 - Add notes about each lead

When you select a specific lead from your Leads tab, you’ll see a section labeled Notes. Click here to enter any notes you have about the job. These will only be visible on your end, and will not be shared with the homeowner. This is a great way to keep track of any details you need to remember before a job is finished.
