🧭 Before You Start

  • You must have the Delete Draft Special Right. With this permission you can delete ANY Draft at the Organization-level.

⚠️ Be careful not to delete someone else's draft

  • Deleting a draft is immediate and permanent.

  • Draft deletion affects all users—there is no undo.

If you do not see the delete option, contact your Business Administrator.

💡 Tip: While editing, include your site name or initials in the draft name to avoid confusion—then remove it before publishing so end users see a clean workflow name.

🎯 Why This Matters
Keeping unused drafts can create confusion and increase the risk of publishing the wrong workflow. Deleting drafts helps keep the Editor clean and focused on active work.

🛠️ How to Delete a Workflow Draft

  1. Open ANVL Insights

  2. Navigate to Mobilize → Editor

  3. Open Drafts in the left-hand menu

  4. Locate the workflow draft you want to delete

  5. Click the Trash Can (🗑️) icon next to the draft

  6. Confirm the deletion when prompted

The draft is removed immediately and cannot be recovered.

⚠️ Watch Out For…

  • Deleting a draft that someone else is actively editing

  • Confusing a Draft with a Published workflow

  • Assuming drafts can be recovered later

Once deleted, the draft cannot be restored.

What You Should See

  • The workflow draft no longer appears in the Drafts list

  • No change to any Published workflows

🔑 Key Takeaways

  • Draft deletion is permanent

  • Requires the Delete Draft special right

  • Does not affect already published workflows

  • Use deletion to reduce clutter and avoid mistakes
