Use the Open Text Analysis report to review and analyze free-text responses captured in ANVL workflows. This report helps you understand what users are actually saying in comments, descriptions, and other open-text fields.
It is especially useful when you want to:
search for specific words or phrases
identify recurring themes or concerns
find early warning signs that may not appear in checklist data
drill into the workflows where an issue was mentioned
This report is one of the best ways to hear the “voice of the frontline” and turn comments into actionable insight.
Steps
Open the ANVL Power BI reports.
Open the Open Text Analysis page.
Apply filters as needed, such as:
Group / site
Workflow
Supervisor
Employee
Job Title
specific questions or answers
Use the text search feature.
Enter a keyword or phrase such as

Open the related workflows if you need more context
Use the search feature to look for patterns.
Search for repeated hazards
Search for recurring equipment or process issues
Search for words that may signal frustration, urgency, or escalation
Review the word cloud.
Use it to identify frequently mentioned words or phrases
Select a word to filter the report to that topic
Review which sites, roles, or supervisors are mentioning it most often
Drill into the results.
Review individual responses
look at trends over time

Export the data if needed.
Use the export options to download the dataset as Excel or CSV
