Answer

Use the Assignments Dashboard to review workflow assignments across the organization, including both one-time assignments and recurring assignments created through schedules.

This report helps you:

  • see assignment volume across sites and teams

  • track completion, in-progress work, and overdue work

  • identify where required work is being missed

  • monitor adoption of programs such as audits, LPAs, JSAs, and other assigned workflows

The Assignments Dashboard rolls up assignment data from ANVL Insights and is best for broader oversight across sites, supervisors, teams, or programs.

Steps

  1. Open the ANVL Power BI reports.

  2. Open the Assignments Dashboard.

  3. Apply filters as needed, such as:

    • Group / site

    • Workflow

    • Assigned By

    • Assigned To

    • Assignment Status

    • Due Date or timeframe

  4. Review the summary metrics at the top of the report.
    These typically include:

    • Total Assignments

    • Assignments Completed

    • Assignments In Progress

    • Overall Completion Rate

  5. Review the Assignment Table.
Use this view to see assignment-level details such as:

    • who assigned the work

    • who the work is assigned to

    • due dates

    • current status

  6. Review Completion by User or Site.
    Use this to identify:

    • which users are consistently completing assigned work

    • which sites are performing well

    • where assignments are being missed

    • which teams may need follow-up

  7. Review the Assignment Status Distribution.
Use this to see how assignments are split across statuses such as:

    • Completed

    • In Progress

    • Overdue

This helps you identify backlog, missed work, or emerging compliance risk.

  8. Review the Assignment Timeline.
    Use this view to:

    • track assignment completion over time

    • identify sustained improvement

    • spot drops in completion or compliance

    • support monthly or quarterly program review

  9. Use the report to answer questions such as:

    • Are required assignments being completed?

    • Which sites are falling behind?

    • Are overdue assignments increasing?

    • Which supervisors or teams may need support?

    • Is program adoption improving over time?

  10. Focus first on overdue assignments and lower-performing sites or teams.

  11. Compare results by site, supervisor, or workflow to identify patterns.

  12. Use the trends to guide follow-up, coaching, and accountability conversations.

This report is especially useful for regular review of recurring programs and required work across the organization.
