There can be several reasons why your Anyday account is currently blocked for new purchases. When you attempt to shop, you will always see a short message with the explanation.
The most common reasons are:
You have a secret/protected address.*
Your Anyday account has been sent to debt collection.**
Your payment card is linked to another account.***
Your account has been selected for a random check.****
You have an active credit warning, check here.
You are registered in the RKI or the Debtor Register; check here.
You have requested to have your account closed yourself.
Address in Denmark. (If you have recently moved to Denmark, please ensure that you have registered your address with the Danish National Register).
You have an overdue amount that has not been paid. (Once you pay the overdue amount, it typically takes up to 5 minutes for the block to be lifted. Remember to refresh the page or log out and log back into your account to see that the block is removed).
You have a previous agreement with customer service that temporarily prevents new purchases.
* Our system needs to be able to look up your address automatically in the CPR register to approve you. If you have name and address protection, this lookup is blocked, and we therefore cannot offer you an account. Manual verification is not possible: We cannot approve your account manually by looking at your health insurance card or certificate of residence as long as the protection is active in CPR. Solution: If you wish to use Anyday, you must remove the protection on Borger.dk. Once you have done this, it typically takes up to 5 business days before our system can see the change. After this, you must contact us so we can remove the block.
** If you previously had a case regarding an Anyday order that was handed over to debt collection, your account is permanently closed. For security reasons, we do not offer the reopening of accounts where we had to involve debt collection to cover a loss. This also applies even if you have subsequently paid the entire debt to the debt collection agency.
*** Your payment card is linked to another account: If the system detects that the same payment card is added to more than one Anyday account, we will block both accounts for security reasons (Duplicated card). To remove the block, you must upload a picture of your card via this link.
Important: Before uploading the picture, you must cross out the first 12 digits of the card number and the CVC code on the back, so we can only see the last 4 digits of the card number and the cardholder's name.
**** Your account has been selected for a random check: In some cases, accounts are selected for a standard random check. To reopen your account, simply fill out this form.
Credit assessment and reset credit. When you shop with Anyday, we perform a credit assessment to ensure the requirements are met. This assessment is not permanent, as your financial situation can change. Therefore, you may experience your credit being reset to 0 DKK, even if you previously had credit. This happens because we are obligated to make a new assessment if:
More than one year has passed since your last credit assessment, or
You have been granted credit but have not used it within 2 months.
You have received 2 reminder fees within the same month due to a defaulted installment.
What do I do now? If you believe the reason for the block is no longer relevant, or if you wish to have your account reopened, you can contact our customer service. We will gladly help you review the case and reopen your account if the conditions are met.
Note: If you have requested to have your account closed yourself, we keep certain information for a period afterwards. During this period, you may experience errors if you try to create a new account. Is this the case for you? You can simply contact support, and we will help you reactivate your account.
