Manual order handling
When an order is placed using Anyday, you should generally be able to capture, refund, and cancel payments through your backend or gateway, just as you would with any other card payment.
Automated Order Handling
Capture-on-complete
Depending on the shop system you are using, you may be able to turn on Capture-on-complete. That allows for orders to automatically be captured when they are marked as complete.
Third-party order handling
If you use third-party shipping or payment systems to handle your orders automatically, this may need to be activated for Anyday orders as well.
If you experience any problems or uncertainties handling Anyday payments, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team. We are here to help you resolve any challenges quickly and smoothly.
Reservation expiration and late captures If an order is delayed, please be aware of the following regarding the payment reservation:
Expiration timeline: Depending on your specific merchant setup, a payment reservation will automatically expire after either 14 or 28 days.
What "expired" means: When a reservation expires, it simply means that the reserved funds are released back to the customer's bank account. It does not mean the order is lost or cancelled in the Anyday system.
Capturing up to 179 days: You can still capture the payment for up to 179 days after the order was originally placed. However, because the initial reservation has been released, the late capture will only be successful if the customer still has sufficient funds available on their payment card at the exact time you capture the order.
