What is the Audience Manager?

The Audience Manager is your central hub for managing all contact data in Audience Republic. It lets you import contacts, apply filters, use tags, and create dynamic segments - all designed to help you target the right fans with the right messages.

Key Features:

  • Import contacts via CSV or platform integrations

  • Filter contacts based on behaviour, location, and more

  • Tag fans manually or automatically

  • Create dynamic segments that update in real-time

  • Search and view fan profiles to learn what matters to them

  • Clean and manage your lists before launching campaigns

Import Contacts

Bring in the data you already have - fast.

You can either:

  • Connect platforms you already use to automatically sync your contacts, or

  • Upload a CSV file with your contact list

You’ll be able to:

  • Add contacts to a list

  • Map custom fields (e.g. location, genre, ticket type)

  • Automatically clean and format mobile numbers

  • Add tags to keep contacts organised from the start

Tip: Make sure your data is formatted correctly before uploading.

Filter Your Audience

Filters help you narrow your audience based on things like:

  • Past ticket purchases

  • Location (city, state, country)

  • Email/SMS engagement (opened, clicked, ignored)

  • Tags or custom fields

You can build simple or complex filters using:

  • AND = Must meet all selected conditions

  • OR = Must meet at least one condition

Filters can be used on-the-fly, or saved for reuse across campaigns, reports, or ads.

Create Segments

A segment is a saved group of contacts based on filter criteria.
Unlike filters, segments are dynamic - meaning they automatically update as fans meet your criteria.

Example: Create a segment called "Past Buyers" for anyone who bought tickets before today. As new people buy tickets, they’ll automatically be added to this group.

Use segments in:

  • Campaigns (email/SMS)

  • Reports and insights

  • Targeted ads

Add Tags

Tags are manual labels you apply to contacts. They help you organise or flag certain fans.

Common tags include:

  • Event names (e.g. “NYE 2024”)

  • Buyer types (e.g. “VIP” or “Big Spender”)

  • Promo groups (e.g. “Contest – April 2025”)

  • Genres or interests

You can add or remove tags at any time, and use them in filters or search.

Fan Profiles

Click into any contact to view their Customer Profile, including:

  • Name and contact info

  • Events they’ve attended

  • How much they’ve spent

  • Tags and segments they belong to

  • Email/SMS engagement history

This gives you a full view of each fan’s relationship with your brand - perfect for personalised outreach.
