Steps
Go to Avaana (avaana.com.au). Navigate to Provider Log In, then enter your registered email address and password to access your account.
Go to Bookings > Workcover Bookings from the left-hand menu.
Click Add Booking in the top right hand corner.
Follow the prompts and enter the booking details:
Patient name
Modality
Claim number
Practitioner name
Service type
In the date picker, use the left arrow (<) to navigate to the past appointment date.
Select the appointment date and start time.
⚠️ You cannot set a date earlier than the original base date.Confirm the warning message:
“You are about to create a backdated entry. Proceed with this booking?”
Click Continue Anyway to save the booking.
Notes
The booking will be successfully added on the Workcover Bookings page.
It will appear with a “Past Booking” tag for easy identification.
Past-dated bookings will not automatically sync to your practice management system, so you may need to add them manually if required.
