When it comes to managing your practitioners on the Avaana dashboard, the process depends on how your practice is set up. We’ll guide you through the two different scenarios to help you figure out the right steps for your clinic.

Scenario 1: If You Use Cliniko, Coreplus, or Nookal

If your practice uses Cliniko, Coreplus, or Nookal, syncing with Avaana is super easy! By completing a full sync with your practice management software (PMS), all your clinic’s practitioner details, including their roles and services, will automatically appear on the Avaana dashboard.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • All Practitioners Will Be Pulled In: The sync will import all practitioners assigned to your clinic locations, along with their service modalities.

  • Customise Who Appears: If you don’t want certain staff members visible on your dashboard, that’s okay! You can either turn them off or delete them.

Scenario 2: If You Don’t Use Cliniko, Coreplus, or Nookal

If your practice doesn’t use one of those systems, no worries! You’ll be using Google Calendar as a bridge between your practice management software and Avaana. However, before you sync Google Calendar, you need to manually add your practitioners to the Avaana dashboard.

  • Add Your Practitioners First: Before syncing, make sure each practitioner’s profile is set up in the dashboard. This allows us to properly link bookings and referrals to the right person.

  • Complete the Google Sync: Once your practitioners are added, you can go ahead and sync Google Calendar.
