You can cancel bookings and issue full or partial refunds directly from your calendar or booking page in Baluu. Follow the steps below depending on what you’d like to do.
Cancel a Booking and Issue a Full Refund
If you want to cancel a booking and refund the full amount:
Go to Calendar.
Select the date the customer is booked on.
Find the booking and click the three dots (⋯) next to it.
Click Cancel.
Make sure you tick “Refund this booking”.
⚠️ If you don’t tick this option, the booking will be cancelled without a refund.
(Optional) Add a message explaining the cancellation.
Click Cancel booking to confirm.
Issue a Full Refund or Partial Refunds Without Cancelling the Booking
(Including Partial Refunds)
If you want to refund a customer but keep the booking active (or only refund part of the amount):
Go to People select Customers.
Click on the name of the customer
Click on the booking ID you want to refund.
In the top-right corner, click More.
Select Refund.
From here, you can choose:
Partial refund – enter the amount you’d like to refund.
Full refund without cancellation – select Partial refund, enter the full amount, and untick “Also cancel booking.”
Full refund with cancellation (keep “Also cancel booking” untick "partial refund?")
