How to Create and Send Newsletters in Baluu

You can now send newsletters directly to your customers in Baluu — no need for third-party tools.

Written by Ruta Jogminaite

Before you start

Make sure your customers have the option to subscribe to marketing emails.

Creating a Newsletter

  1. Go to Customers in the left-hand menu

  2. Click on Newsletters

  3. Click New newsletter (top right)

You’ll be taken to the newsletter editor.

Setting up your Newsletter

At the top of the page, you’ll see key settings:

  • Recipients – choose your audience

  • From email – sender address

  • Subject – required

  • Preview text – appears in inbox preview

⚠️ Before you can send newsletters

Newsletter sending requires a verified custom email domain so your messages are sent from your own email address (for example, newsletter@yourdomain.com) rather than a shared Baluu address. This helps protect your sender reputation and improves email deliverability.

The Custom Email Domain add-on is a paid feature. Once enabled, you'll need to add a few DNS records to verify your domain before you can start sending newsletters.

You'll also need email credits. Each newsletter email sent uses 1 email credit, and every Baluu plan includes a monthly allowance.

Don't have your own custom domain?

If you don't have a custom domain but would still like to use the newsletter feature, please contact us at support@baluu.io.
