Getting paid through Baluu is simple. Baluu uses Stripe Connect to securely process customer payments and send payouts directly to your bank account. Before you can accept online bookings with payments, you'll need to connect your Stripe account.
Connect Your Stripe Account
To start receiving payments, connect your Stripe account to Baluu.
If you don't already have a Stripe account, you'll be guided through creating one during the setup process.

Once connected, customers can pay online when booking, and your earnings will be transferred to your Stripe account for payout to your bank. Stripe securely handles payment processing, fraud protection, and payment compliance.
How Baluu Pricing Works
Baluu is free to get started, with all core booking features included. Instead of charging large upfront fees, Baluu takes a small commission on paid bookings.

Viewing Your Income
The Income page provides a detailed breakdown of every paid booking, helping you track your revenue and understand exactly how each payment is calculated.
Navigate to:
Dashboard → Income → General

For each transaction, you'll see:
Column | Description |
Item Name | The name of the event, class, membership or product purchased. |
Date | The date the booking or payment was made. |
Buyer | The customer who made the purchase. |
Ticket | The ticket or pricing option purchased. |
Qty | The number of tickets purchased. |
Type | The transaction type (for example, regular or bundle). |
Gross | The total booking value before any discounts or fees are applied. |
Discount | Any discount applied to the booking. |
Charged | The amount charged to the customer. Baluu platform commission and Stripe payment processing fees are deducted from this amount. |
Net Pay | The amount you receive after applicable fees have been deducted. |
Stripe | The payment processing fee charged by Stripe. Values marked (est.) are estimated and will automatically update once synced with Stripe. |
Baluu | The Baluu platform commission fee. Values marked (est.) are estimated based on your current pricing plan and will update when finalised. |
Baluu VAT | The VAT included in the Baluu platform fee, calculated according to your business's registered country. |
Refunds | Any refunds processed for the booking. |
