We know when you first join Baluu, the many options we offer can be confusing! This article will help you understand if you are attempting to sell an Event, a Product, or both to your customers.

An Event

An event is an in-person or online class/activity/lesson. Examples of events that use Baluu include pottery workshops, sushi making classes, group yoga sessions, and many more!

Events can be:

  • Singular - Sessions that customers can purchase independently of one-another - these can be created with open availability rules or fixed slots.

  • Multi-day Sessions (Course) - A group of sessions that cannot be purchased independently of one-another.

  • Termly - A series of events that can all be booked at once, or optionally also booked as drop ins.

The links above will take you to articles explaining these event listing types in more detail and how to create them.

The above is an example of events - and how your Event screen will look. Each of the Event types outlined above can be catered specifically to your needs.

A Product

A product is an item that you can sell on Baluu. Our categories of product are DIY kit; Equipment; Materials; Collection; and Online Course. You can select what best fits your item - for example, some users that offer painting classes could also sell kits that allow you to paint at home! Others simply sell products related to their brand.

You can set the price, stock, shipping costs, and your own returns policy. If you need to, you can add comprehensive instructions for your customers to follow.
