Setting Up the Besty Website Chat Widget

How to add the Besty chat widget to your direct booking website so guests can ask questions and check availability.

What is the website chat widget?

The Besty website chat widget is a chat window you can embed on your direct booking site. Guests can use it to ask questions about your properties, check availability, and get property information — all powered by Besty AI and synced with your PMS.

Setup (takes about 2 minutes)

  1. In your Besty dashboard, go to Settings and find the Website Widget section.

  2. Copy the embed script provided.

  3. Paste the script into the <head> or before the closing </body> tag of your website's HTML. The widget is compatible with any website platform.

  4. Contact your support channel or account manager to enable the widget for your account if it isn't already active.

Connecting the widget to a specific property or account

If you have multiple properties or franchise locations, each can have its own widget instance connected to the correct Besty account. Contact your support channel to configure the correct account linkage before going live.

Testing the widget

After embedding the script, load your website and confirm the chat widget appears. Send a test message to verify it routes correctly to your Besty inbox. If messages aren't appearing, check that the embed script is placed correctly and the widget is enabled on your account.

Mobile and desktop support

The widget is fully responsive and works on both desktop and mobile browsers. No separate mobile configuration is needed.
