How do Task Templates work?

Task Templates are your reusable checklists in the Operations Portal. Each template includes a name and description, a Department (Cleaning, Inspection, Maintenance, or Guest Services), a Priority, a Default Due Time, and an Estimated Duration.

Each template also has two tabs.

Requirements tab

This holds the actual checklist steps. Each requirement can be:

  • Marked To-Do or To-Be-Listed.

  • Set as Optional or Required.

  • Given uploaded photos.

  • Grouped into categories such as Bathroom, Living Room, Exterior, or Upon Arrival.

Add categories and requirements using the + buttons.

Line Items tab

This is for supply costs and labor billing. You can add:

  • Supplies — pulled from Inventory, with currency, quantity, owner category, and a receipt/attachment field.

  • Labor — with a rate and time.

Check Bill to Owner to pass a cost back to the property owner. This data flows into the Payments tabs.

Managing templates

The template list shows the template name, Department, and Requirements count. Use the + Create Template button to build new ones.
