Bookend nights are similar to orphan nights, but take a more proactive approach. This feature works similarly by reaching out to guests already booked, offering them a chance to extend their stay—even when there’s no vacancy gap.
Example:
If a guest is staying Friday to Sunday, Besty will reach out with an offer such as, 'Monday is available at a discounted rate—would you like to extend your stay?'"
There are various configuration options, such as the maximum number of nights to offer, the discount rate, and the timing of your offers. You can decide how far in advance to send the offer, and if you want to avoid offering it for bookings too close to the stay for cleaner scheduling, you can adjust that as well. Additionally, you can set it for all nights or limit it to weekdays, excluding weekends if necessary.
You can customize the Bookend Nights feature according to your preferences. Options include:
Maximum number of nights: Set how many nights you’d like to offer guests as an extension.
Discount rate: Choose the discount you want to provide for the extra nights.
Offer timing: Decide how far in advance you want to send the offer to guests.
Last-minute bookings: Adjust the settings to avoid offering extensions if the booking is too close to the stay (e.g., for scheduling cleaner availability).
Specific nights: Set the feature to apply to all nights or limit it to weekdays, excluding weekends if necessary.
