The 'Compare to Sequence' and 'Investigate Tour' features are insightful analytical tools designed to give you a view of the routes taken by your drivers.
Let's begin with the section 'Compare to Sequence'.
Click on the "Open the first sequence" button on the right window and the 1st sequence of the tour opens. If you want to check another sequence from the day, scroll down and click on the line graph to view the suggested route for that specific time. You can also hover over any point on the graph to see the status at that specific point in time.
The yellow dot indicates the very first sequence (after the driver left the depot) calculated on that day.
A red dot indicates a recalculation of the sequence triggered by the driver.
Routes suggested by the app
The map on the right shows the routes suggested by the app throughout the day (the 1st sequence and the ones triggered by a manual optimization by the driver).
The waypoints are shown in the given sequence by the app. The waypoints already closed are not shown. The waypoints are displayed in a colour going from green to red.
the greener the waypoint, the smaller the difference from the sequence ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival).
the redder the waypoint, the larger the difference from the sequence ETA.
Useful features:
Hover over a waypoint on one map to highlight the exact same stop on the other map.
Zoom in on the map to see the calculated difference in minutes for each waypoint.
The waypoint ETA/ATA deviation chart
Each black bar on the chart stands for one waypoint, placed by its time difference, time deviation between estimated time of arrival (ETA) and actual time of arrival(ATA) — from 90 minutes early (left) to 90 minutes late (right). The background colors help you spot issues fast:
Green (center) — Stops reached close to their estimated time. The more bars here, the better the tour went.
Orange to red (edges) — Stops reached much earlier or later than estimated.
Numbers at the ends: Show how many waypoints fall outside the ±90 minute range.
Stops to investigate
Below the chart, you will find the waypoints with the largest time differences, sorted from worst to least severe. Each card shows the stop number, the deviation in minutes, and the address. Clicking a card opens that waypoint on both maps, so you can immediately see where the problems lie and investigate what happened.
The summary at the top shows the total number of stops that need attention, how many were late or early, and which stop had the largest time difference.
Tour KPIs: At the very top of the page, you see the general information about the first activity (first login of the day), last activity (last logout of the day), app activity (how long the app was used on the foreground on the phone), start time (last set up for this tour by the driver or automatically when driver leaves the depot) and end time (time when the last waypoint was closed).
If the App Activity is less than 60 minutes in one day, then the KPI will be highlighted in red. In that case, it makes little sense to analyze the rest of the tour, as the app has not been used properly, this is the main problem and there is little data to look over.
You will also see the RTT-Category, average ETA/ATA deviation of that day, sequence fidelity and the amount of time frames on the tour that day. Click on the little arrow to see if the time frames are from the system or set by the driver themselves, and if they were missed or successful.
Visual Route Replay: With the tour-driven map (left map), you can visually trace the path that the driver took, including each stop made along the route. This helps you check how efficiently the driver followed the route, identify any differences from the route suggested by the app, and understand what happened during the delivery of a specific parcel (for example, a parcel with a claim).
You can see in green the areas where the driver followed the sequence, and in red the areas where they did not.
You can now compare both tours, to better understand driver behaviour and see where there is room for improvement.
Waypoint Information: You can click every waypoint to receive a snapshot of the delivery details such as the address, the type and success status of the job performed, the delivery time and the set timeframe (if given).
Delivery Performance Metrics: The feature aggregates key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of pickups, collections, deliveries, total jobs, total waypoints, and the distance traveled. You can also see the device the driver used.
Device Activity Tracking: Device information, including the name, IMEI, Device-model, login number of the driver, and last login timestamp.
Waypoint including a PIC or COL: In order to understand at one glance why the driver went back and forth on the road he drove (PIC and COL are often delivered at the end), waypoints including at least a PIC or a COL will have a specific icon.
Waypoint including a parcel delivered to a parcel shop: In order to understand why it looks like the driver did not follow the sequence and also to understand the timestamp on certain waypoints, waypoints containing at least one parcel delivered to a parcel shop have a dedicated badge.
The Investigate Tour tab shows a detailed list of the route next to the map. This lets you review each stop to see when, where, and in what order the events happened.
1. The Waypoint List: On the left side of the screen, you will see the Waypoints list. It matches the Tour Details view and shows the driver's complete route in order:
Delivery order: See exactly which stop was closed first, second, third, etc.
Timestamps: Shows the exact "Closed at" time for every stop so you can spot delays or time gaps.
2. Job Details & Unsuccessful Outcomes For even more detail, click a job badge (for example, DEL 1 or COL 1) in the list.
Click a job badge to open a pop-up with detailed information about the selected delivery or collection. This view includes:
Service & Tracking: Service names and Track IDs.
Outcomes: Reasons for failed deliveries listed under "Unsuccessful jobs type" (such as "incorrect address").
Original Address: Verify the exact address data sent to the driver.
