Live-Status

Written by Support

The Live Status feature is a comprehensive tool designed to equip depot employees with real-time information on their drivers and deliveries. Here's how it benefits the daily operations:

1. Live Map Visualization: Employees can view the current locations of all drivers on a live map, which updates continuously for the most accurate tracking. The map is interactive and color-coded:

  • Yellow pins indicate drivers who are more than 15% behind average depot progress.

  • Green pins indicate the current location of an driver were we receive active data.

  • Green pins with exclamation mark show the last known location when the app was active.

  • White pins with a check mark indicate completed tours.

The map-settings allows you to customize what you want to see on the map, such as the traffic layer, completed tours, and the last location on the map before the Bettermile App becomes Inactive.

Track down tours on the map: If you notice a tour in the table were something seems of, you can navigate to it on the map by clicking the location-button. There are 3 different states of traceability as you see in the picture below.

  • If you see a blue button, the tour is visible on the map and by clicking the button you will be navigated to that tour.

  • If you see a grey button, the tour is not visible on the map due to your map settings (you might want to activate to show "completed tours on map" or "last locations before the App became inactive". Once you've done this, the location-button will become blue too.

  • If you see no button, it means we didn't receive any location data for this tour so far.

2. Tour Progress and Details: Below the map you will see the aggregated data of all your drivers. This feature provides detailed insights into each driver's daily tour, including the vehicle number, app usage, tour progress, number of unsuccessful jobs, start time, and the RTT category of the driver. The RTT category shows how reliable the estimated times of arrival are compared to the actual time of a arrival. The better the driver follows the sequence, the more reliable are those times.

  • The blue color stands for "Good", the driver is doing well.

  • The yellow color stands for "Medium", the driver is okay.

  • The red color stands for Blocked means the driver is not following the sequence suggested by the app and therefore the tour can't be tracked by the consignee.

App activity

The table also displays the app usage status, indicating whether the driver's app was

  • used within the last hour (green),

  • earlier in the day (grey),

  • or not at all (none)

  • uses another device (+1).

3. Customizable Data Columns: You can choose to customize the displayed data columns according to your preferences. Information such as the vehicle number, waypoints, unsuccessful jobs, tracked parcels, estimated time of arrival (ETA), and more can be toggled on or off to streamline the interface to show only the most relevant information.

4. Detailed Tour View: By clicking on a tour or vehicle number, you can access a detailed view of that specific tour. This gives you the view of how it looks like on the drivers device, it gives you in-depth information about waypoints, deliveries, pick-ups, job assignment details, and ETAs.
