How Beventi calculates payment plan dates
The seller sets the final payment deadline. Beventi then calculates any earlier installment dates between the day the order is placed and that deadline.
The final payment deadline
The deadline includes a date, time, and timezone. It may be a custom deadline chosen by the seller or, for an event order form, the form's close date at 11:59 pm in its timezone.
Three-payment schedules
When a buyer chooses three remaining payments, Beventi spaces them as evenly as practical between the order date and the final deadline. The final installment uses the final payment deadline.
If the available payment window is very short, more than one installment may be due on the final deadline so the buyer is not asked to make separate payments only a few days apart.
The remaining balance is divided as evenly as possible. If it cannot be divided into equal cents, the final payment includes the remainder so the installments match the exact balance.
One remaining payment
When a buyer chooses one remaining payment, the full outstanding balance is due by the final payment deadline.
Schedule changes
A seller can change the deadline for an unpaid payment. Paid installments stay locked so the completed payment history does not change.
When a deadline changes, the updated schedule appears on the order. Use the latest date and time shown there.
FAQ
Which timezone is used?
Payment deadlines use the order form's timezone. Beventi may also show the equivalent time in your account's timezone.
Can the final deadline be different from the order form close date?
Yes. The seller can set a separate payment deadline. If they do not, an eligible event order form may use its close date as the fallback.
