The bike can be returned at any bikeMi station.

In order to return a bike, the free dock of a station must have a green light ๐Ÿ‘‡

The steps for a correct return of the bike are as follows:

  1. Lift the bike up from the handlebar;

  2. be sure that the pins under the basket are in upright;

  3. put the pins in the 2 holes of the station's dock;

  4. wait until the dock light changes from flashing to steady green;

  5. check that the bike is locked by trying to lift the handlebars.

  6. If the dock LED continues to flash, gently shake the handlebar and push it forward;

  7. check again that the dock light is steady green.

When you have finished using the bike, if it is correctly docked, you will see the following screen on the app ๐Ÿ‘‡

If the return was successful, you will receive a notification via the app and an email to the address linked to your profile.

You can also view your usage report in the โ€œTrip historyโ€ section of the app and any costs incurred in โ€œPaymentsโ€.

Finally, make sure the app is updated to the latest version available.

Please note: After returning the bike, you must wait 5 minutes before starting a new ride.

If you return the bike within 3 minutes of picking it up (for example, because damage has been detected), you can immediately start a new ride without waiting or incurring additional costs.
