Already have an existing BirdEase Payments account and login, but need to make updates to or change the organization/business information on your application? Running a new event or multiple events where the funds are not going to the same bank account linked to your current account? This requires a the merchant (you) to submit a new application under the updated/new organization/business information.
You’ll need to create a new BirdEase Payments account that is linked under your existing BirdEase Payments login. This allows you to manage multiple payment accounts while still accessing them through the same BirdEase Payments credentials. To create a new application under your existing account, follow the steps below:
When you're ready to begin the new application, navigate to the Payments>General tab and disconnect BirdEase Payments:
You won't be able to take payments by credit card until the new account is set up, but you can follow up with registrants with the 'Payment Reminder Email' feature in the registrants tab after the new account is activated.
Once you've disconnected, re-connect to BirdEase Payments and you'll see a pop-up notifying you that you have an existing BirdEase Payments account. Keep the 'Select Business' field the same, then use the dropdown under 'Select Account' to choose 'Create New Account':
When the Payments page refreshes, click the orange 'Finish Application' button and you'll be redirected to the new application. Once completed and submitted, our payment partner will review the information and reach out if anything further is needed for approval.
Tips & Tricks:
We recommend logging into your BirdEase Payments account and navigating to the 'Applications' tab, where you should see both your existing BirdEase Payments account and your new application listed.
Ensure you don't have pop-up blockers enabled on your browser or the application will not open in a new tab.
Link your bank account to your new Payments account right away. Navigate to Settings>Bank Accounts in your BirdEase Payments portal and click the '+ Add New Bank Account' button in the upper right corner to do so.
