AppSmashing involves combining together content created in various different apps and "smashing" them together into one finished product.

Because of the various media formats and embed codes that you can add to Book Creator, it is often a popular choice as the last step in an AppSmash, to publish work in a format that is easy to share.

Many web apps offer embed codes as a way of sharing content. Rather than just linking to the web page, it allows the web page, video, image or audio to be embedded in another website (or in this case, a book).
Often embed codes will be contained in an iframe. Book Creator can take these iframes and convert them into an embedded link on the page.

To add embedded content to your book, click on the + button > Media > Embed

Then copy the embed code from the web app you want to embed, and paste it into the embed window in Book Creator.
