AppSmashing (combining content from different apps and "smashing" them together into one awesome finished product) is one of our users' favorite creative strategies.

And because of the various media formats and embed codes you can add, Book Creator is often the best choice for the last step in an AppSmash, since it's so easy to publish and share your final work.

What is an embed?

Many web apps offer embed codes as a way of sharing content. Rather than just linking to the web page, an embed allows the web page, video, image, or audio to live right inside another website (or in our case, a book!).

Often embed codes will be contained in an iframe. No need to worry about the technical details - Book Creator can take these iframes and seamlessly convert them into an embedded link on the page.

To add embedded content to your book, click on the + button > Media > Embed

Next, you'll copy the embed code from the web app you want to embed and paste it into the embed window in Book Creator. It’s that easy!
