My campaign is active but not spending. What should I check?
Work through these checks in order:
Account balance. A zero balance immediately pauses all campaigns. Go to Advertiser Tools > Payment and check your Current Balance. If needed, add funds. See how to fund your account.
Campaign status. Newly created campaigns may remain in Pending status for a short period while they're activated.
Hotels in the ad group. Hotels must be activated within the ad group, not just added to your advertiser account.
Base bid. Use Competitive Insights to confirm your CPC is competitive for your market.

My campaign status shows "Pending". How long does that last?
Pending is a normal status for newly created campaigns and typically resolves within a few hours while the campaign is being activated. If your campaign remains in Pending status for more than 24 hours, contact support and include your Campaign ID so we can investigate.
I added funds, but my campaign still isn't running. Why?
Adding funds does not automatically restart campaigns that have been paused or ended. After topping up your account:
Go to Campaigns.
Open Campaign Settings.
Select Reactivate Campaign.
Confirm your hotels are still activated within the ad group.
My ad isn't showing on Booking.com. Is my campaign working?
The best way to confirm your campaign is running is to check Reporting. If impressions and clicks are increasing, your ads are being served. It's normal not to see your own ad during a manual search because:
You won't win every auction.
Your daily budget may already be fully spent.
Search results vary based on traveler context and auction outcomes.
Your Reporting dashboard is the most reliable source for verifying campaign delivery. For more information, see how your ads appear in search results.
My campaign was paused or ended. How do I restart it?
Before reactivating your campaign:
Confirm your account has sufficient funds.
Go to Campaign Settings and select Reactivate Campaign.
Review your budget, activated hotels, bids, and targeting settings to ensure they're still appropriate for current market conditions.
My property was flagged as not eligible. Why?
Sponsored Listings is primarily available for hotels and aparthotels listed on Booking.com. The following property types may not be eligible:
Vacation rentals
Private homes
Villas
Guesthouses classified as non-hotel properties
If you believe your property should be eligible, contact support with your Booking.com Hotel ID and property type so we can investigate.
